Serve at Camp This Summer

Counselor in Training (CITs)

Our Counselors in Training (CITs) are rising leaders who are excited to grow in faith while learning what it means to serve at camp! CITs help guide cabins of campers through the fun of daily camp life—playing games, helping with activities, and building friendships that reflect the love of Jesus. They support counselors, assist with crafts, hikes, campfires, and even help lead small group conversations after worship.

Being a CIT is also about growing spiritually. CITs participate in staff devotions, worship, and faith conversations while learning how to care for campers and be part of a Christ-centered community. Plus, they’ll get to experience High School Camp at no cost—an awesome chance for adventure, deeper friendships, and discovering how God is working in their lives.

Camp Counselors

Camp Counselors are at the heart of the Westminster Spires experience! Counselors guide a cabin of 8–10 campers through the fun and adventure of daily camp life, making sure every camper feels safe, included, and cared for. From leading games, hikes, crafts, and team activities to organizing cabin responsibilities and late-night campfire fun, counselors help create an environment where campers can build friendships, try new things, and make unforgettable memories.

Most importantly, counselors help campers grow in their faith. Through worship, small group conversations, and everyday moments around camp, counselors share the love of Jesus and encourage campers to explore their relationship with God. As part of a Christ-centered community, counselors also participate in staff devotions, worship leadership, and meaningful relationships with fellow staff—growing in their own faith while helping make Westminster Spires a place where God’s love is experienced every day.

Volunteers

Volunteers are a big part of what makes Westminster Spires special! As an intergenerational camp, we welcome people of all ages to share their time and gifts. Whether you can help for a day, a few days, or a full week, there are many ways to serve—helping in the kitchen, assisting with crafts and activities, supporting games, or lending a hand wherever it’s needed. Revamp the Camp is also a great opportunity to serve by preparing our grounds for the summer season.

Most importantly, volunteers help create a welcoming, Christ-centered environment where campers can experience God’s love. By volunteering, you help create a fun, welcoming, and faith-filled community where campers of all ages can grow in their relationship with Jesus.
